A well-timed drive hack can leave enemy ships just out of range of a target. Proper use of these support ships and cards can break up enemy formations, blunt forward firepower and buy time to get your ships in optimal positions. In addition, the PHR command cards have various debuffs like Drive Hack that can further hinder enemy movement and firing. Calypsos can give enemy fire a lock penalty, Ouranias can extend the range of other ships, Harpocrates can force enemy ships on silent running, Agrippa can block enemy fire with well-placed debris fields.
